WHAT’S THE ROLE
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for the activities necessary for the daily operations of the laboratory, which includes functions such as:
Analyze and approve raw materials and production samples
Analyze customer samples as received
Maintain sample retains per policy
Conduct blend corrections to meet product specifications
Perform hand blends for blend corrections or new formulations
Review and release blending shop orders
Capable to operate, troubleshoot, maintain and calibrate lab equipment
Perform and maintain Statistical Quality Control (SQC) charts for all lab equipment
Support the lab for facility audits by maintaining lab procedures, work instructions and equipment
Report operational issues to lab supervisor
Complete all necessary paperwork to perform duties as assigned

Requirements:
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a full-time analytical Lab Technician in an Industrial Lubricant environment
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work visa
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have the minimum of a high school diploma or GED
Must possess a current, valid driver’s license
Must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently
Must be able to proficiently use computer systems and software necessary to perform the required lab functions (MS Office, email and equipment specific systems or software)
Must be able to follow all necessary HSSE, Regulatory and Industry standard practices and policies associated with lab operations and waste management
Willing to work a rotating shift work schedule
As a part of the pre-employment selection process, candidates are required to submit to and receive satisfactory results from all pre-employment background, drug, medical, and reference checks, including hair and oral drug testing
