Junior Acquisition Analyst
Responsibilities: Provide a full range of acquisition support services to the IRS Strategic Supplier Management (SSM) Office and its customers. SSM is responsible for strategically managing IT acquisitions and vendors to maximize the IRS’ investment in key commodities and identify significant opportunities to improve IRS IT procurement capability. Under direction from the lead Acquisition Analyst, will provide daily support to Government personnel engaged in the acquisition of IT products and services for the IRS. The daily tasks include the following: Acquisition Planning, Tracking and Reporting, Acquisition Process Analysis and Improvement, Acquisition Package Development, Requirements Development. Conducting Market Research and Market Surveys. Developing and Preparing Estimations and Pricing. Developing and Preparing Acquisition Plans. Developing and Preparing Justifications for Other than Full and Open Competition. Developing and Preparing Technical Evaluation Plans and Source Selection. Developing and Preparing Determinations and Findings (D&Fs).
