Litigation Paralegal

The candidate will work in Employment Wage and Hour Law Division. Should be able to multi-task, prioritize and demonstrate attention to detail and time management skills. Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills are essential. Must be a team player and able to function in a fast-paced work environment and have at least 1 year of related experience. 1+ year experience is required. Employment Law and/or Paralegal experience is preferred. Experience answering discovery, trial and mediation preparation, and have the ability to summarize depositions is highly preferred, Strong knowledge of federal and state statutes, court rules, forms, processes and procedures. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook. Must possess excellent writing and communication skills. Must be able to exercise independent judgment and take ownership of his/her work. Drafting and/or proofreading correspondence and pleadings is required, Calendaring depositions, mediations, hearings, court deadlines, etc. Filing pleadings with the court, including electronic filings with Federal Court. Must possess very strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be highly detail oriented, and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment and manage workload with a great attitude and minimal supervision, High school diploma required.
