The candidate will work for the multi-state real estate closing practice firm. Oversight of paralegal staff in our title department. Title searching, examination and review. Issuance of opinions of title. Real estate closing oversight. Research into complex title matters, legal ethics and compliance. Contract drafting and management. Escalated real estate issue resolution. Juris doctor required. University Degree required. 5 years legal experience in real estate required. Must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina. Must be comfortable interacting with clients and team members tactfully in high-pressure customer service situations. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule with extended hours when required (especially at end of month). Strong attention to detail is required. Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Proficiency in typing and basic computer functions required.
