Receptionist - Compliance Assistant
The candidate will have daily monitoring of worklists that will tell you what letters need to be printed or corrected each day. Accurately review files, create letters that respond to the consumer or attorney’s request, and attach the appropriate documentation. Track letters through the attorney approval process prior to mailing, and ensure that letters are correctly named, saved, and scanned into our database. Work within all applicable Federal and State collection laws as well as client requirements. Handle all reception-related duties, including checking in visitors and taking payments. Attention to detail is a must. Demonstrated ability to think critically, analyze problems, and use good judgment. Above-average spelling, grammar, and basic math skills. Should have the ability to stay organized while handling multiple projects. Being comfortable using Excel, Outlook, Zoom, and navigating a computer database is a must. A High School diploma or GED is required; college is a plus. Prior experience in collections, banking, editing/proofreading, legal assistant, or reception roles is a plus.
