Safe Haven is a peer-run Drop-In center for individuals experiencing homelessness, active substance use and other significant life challenges.  We are a Safe Space that welcomes all individuals seeking support using a non-judgmental, harm reduction, and person-centered approach.  We are looking for a strong team leader to supervise a staff of peer recovery specialists.  You will have oversight of daily operations, supporting staff as they guide our clients to address the challenges they are facing.  Ensure that we have adequate supplies of food, clothing, survival, personal hygiene and other necessities.  Create a space that is safe and welcoming to all.  Must be able to multi-task and good with computers. Data Reporting is an integral part of this job.  Excellent people skills. Effective at de-escalating clients who are in crisis.  Spanish-speaking or multi-lingual preferred.  Preferred CPRS or willing to attend training to become a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist within three months of hire.
