PRE-LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT/PARALEGAL

Established litigation law firm in City of Richmond currently searching for a highly motivated individual for a legal assistant to three attorneys. Firm concentrates its practice in the areas of personal injury and civil litigation. Position requires experience in the following areas:  Intake, request Medical Records, request  Medical Bills, request lost wages.

Preparation of  pre-litigation demands, drafting of disbursement letters, Erisa Liens, Medicaid Liens, Medicare Liens,scanning and filing.  Experience required.

ONLY SERIOUS CANDIDATES NEED TO APPLY

Skills/Qualifications:

● College Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate

● Strong computer/typing skills - 60+ wpm.

● Proficient in WordPerfect and MS Word.

● Knowledge of Abacus, Excel, Power Point.

● Excellent verbal/written communication skills.

● Attention to detail/strong organizational skills;

● Willingness to work independently and under direction.

● Team player; takes initiative.

● Professional demeanor and business work attire.
