Duties: With the assistance of, and in collaboration with, the CCO, participate in coordinating HIPM risk analyses and security assessments for the System with the System’s third party vendor. In collaboration with the CCO and other Compliance Officers, identify risk factors for the System’s risk assessments, and select items from the risk assessments for development of the annual Corporate Compliance Work Plans. Submit to the CCO regular reports that reflect progress made in addressing Corporate Compliance Work Plan items. In collaboration with the CCO, respond to and address issues from regulatory agencies. Collaborate with the System’s information and risk management team. Conduct independent investigations of reported and observed HIPM violations. Conduct New Employee Orientation for newly hired workforce members as directed by the CCO. Coordinate **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’ record management program, including working with its storage vendor and coordinating the transition to electronic document storage. Promote an organizational culture of compliance and ethics, including promoting the anonymous and retaliation-free reporting of potential compliance issues. Assist in the development of System policies and Operating Procedures, including HIPAA Privacy and Security Operating Procedures, and providing guidance and information to workforce members on the implementation of such policies and Operating Procedures. Perform other compliance and security-related activities and functions at the discretion of the CCO. Obtain professional certifications in compliance, privacy, and information technology-related fields as deemed necessary and as directed by the CCO.
