A law firm in Columbus, OH, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in corporate law and have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and guidance on a wide range of corporate legal matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various business contracts, including mergers and acquisitions, licensing agreements, and joint ventures.
• Ensure corporate compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Advise clients on corporate governance, corporate structure, and regulatory compliance issues.
• Research and analyze legal issues to provide sound legal advice to clients.
• Represent clients in corporate litigation when necessary.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Ohio State Bar or eligibility for admission.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing corporate law.
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, tax law, securities regulations, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
