Duties:

• Take and defend depositions as needed
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft briefs
• Prepare and argue motions in court
• Utilize strong legal writing and analytical skills for case strategy and presentation
• Manage tasks effectively and work independently to maintain case progress
• Collaborate with team members, demonstrating a proactive approach and strong work ethic

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
• Background in insurance defense litigation preferred
• Active license to practice law in Utah

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Utah State Bar license in good standing

Skills:

• Expertise in litigation practices, including deposition and motion practice
• Proficient in legal research and analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and produce consistent, high-quality work
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
