Counsel, Intellectual Property Licensing
The candidate will manage and drive inbound patent licensing matters from assertion to conclusion, interacting with patent holders, managing legal, technical, and business analyses, negotiating NDA’s and contracts, collaborating with internal and outside counsel, specific subject matter experts, technology experts, business analysts, and company clients. Should have a J.D. Degree. Should have 5+ years of legal experience including Patent Licensing and NDA’s. Current Bar membership in the US or non-US equivalent is needed. Knowledge of patent licensing is needed. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple matters simultaneously. Demonstrated business acumen, strong analytical skills, the ability to grasp important business issues and drive to results. Strong communication and presentation skills are to explain legal matters to business leaders in a manner that supports well-informed business decisions are needed. Should have the ability to work with business and communicate effectively with business and technical leaders. Should demonstrate an ability to thrive in a large, global environment while coordinating the efforts of an outside counsel network within limited budgets. Knowledge of SEP’s is needed. Technical knowledge of wireless communications and/or codecs are needed.
