Duties: Listening to clients and connecting to their story. Interpreting clients’ communications into actionable, deliverable legal products. Engaging with grieving family members during times of loss. Creating initial drafts of legal documents based on client intake and notes. Filing documents with the courts and the clerks. Researching publicly available records and processing information into a useable form. Corresponding with team members, clients, attorneys, judges and judicial assistants, and the public in a polished and professional manner. Maintaining and improving internal forms and databases. Additional non-paralegal tasks, such as filing, ordering supplies, and some general administration duties.
