Director Of HR Operations
The candidate primarily leads the design, implementation and administration of the firm’s HRIS, compensation and performance management functions. The Director plays an instrumental role in the optimization of the HRIS in order to improve administrative efficiencies, workflows and processes related to the core system and talent management modules (e.g., performance management, compensation, recruitment/onboarding). Direct the work of the HR Operations team responsible for the HRIS, data entry, associated reporting, compensation and performance management. Optimize HRIS system functionality; identify and recommend process improvement opportunities to help drive efficiencies and create a best in class HR Operations platform. Oversee continued implementation and integration of, and any future upgrades to, new HRIS system; communicate complex specifications cross-functionally with technical and non-technical resources in order to achieve desired business objectives. Develop audit and quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity; accountable for HR data accuracy and security. Act as a liaison between HR, Finance and IT as it relates to the firm’s HRIS, performance management and compensation functions; implement improvements in functionality and training where necessary. Evolve and lead first class performance management program to support firm’s strategic priority to develop and retain top talent. Oversee administration of the firm’s competitive and equitable staff compensation program, including market pricing analyses to ensure the firm’s salary structure and related strategies remain externally competitive; analyze internal equity for all staff. Develop and manage budget for HR Operations and coordinate budget process for all HR, ensuring effective management of resources aligned with department and firm goals. Direct the development and maintenance of HR policies and processes. Review and report on key metrics including headcount, turnover, compensation, performance management, etc. to identify organizational trends and help firm leadership make strategic decisions. Develop and follow audit and control processes to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws. Responsible for compliance with equal opportunity and affirmative action requirements. Maintain current knowledge of employment law and key HR developments, trends and best practices; communicate with and educate relevant populations accordingly. Manage assigned vendor relationships. Perform other duties as assigned.
