The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing the development, deployment and support of information systems and services for Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations. This position will have direct reports as well as virtual team responsibilities to ensure coordination of projects across the company.
JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):
Work directly with business stakeholders to manage project demand and the portfolio of information systems supporting Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations.
Oversee and participate in software development, implementation, training and on-going production support for Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain systems.
Perform software acquisition due diligence and work with software vendors and integrators to manage the implementation of SaaS based systems and services. Manage vendor relationships.
Executes IT General Controls principles (SDLC, Change Control, Quality Assurance, and Service Delivery).
Acts as a subject matter expert for Engineering (PLM) and Manufacturing Operations (MES, Materials Management, Production Planning, Quality Assurance) applications within SAP ERP.
Builds relationships within the IT global organization and business units to facilitate inter-department communication and productivity in support of business objectives.
Act as a catalyst for change to improve business and IT processes.
Leads major incident response efforts occasionally requiring afterhours and weekend work
Responsible for personnel administration and performance management.
Bachelors degree (Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology).
Strong team and individual performance.
10 years related work experience required with 5 years of IT management experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with SAP ERP systems and processes.
Experience as a project team leader with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in project management methodologies and activities including estimating costs project scheduling and resource allocation.
Ability to communicate effectively with end users colleagues and management.
