Assistant General Counsel

Duties: The candidate will provide legal support for strategic initiatives involving relationships between multiple CenterWell entities, including CenterWell Primary Care, CenterWell Home Health, and CenterWell Pharmacy, as well as other key internal and external partners. Advise on legal aspects of CenterWell Primary Care and CenterWell Home Health’s relationship with Medicare Advantage Organizations, including Humana. Oversee contracting matters for CenterWell Primary Care and CenterWell Home Health, including intercompany and third-party agreements. Provide guidance related to the application of fraud, waste, and abuse laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, the Beneficiary Inducement Statute, and the False Claims Act. Collaborate with other members of the Primary Care and Home Solutions team to support operational, quality, and risk management processes impacting CenterWell Primary Care and CenterWell Home Health. Partner with business teams, Government Affairs, Regulatory Compliance, and other key stakeholders on policy matters and provide support related to government agency interactions, including inquiries and audits.
