Duties

• Collaborate with senior litigators to develop defense strategies for general liability cases.
• Draft and review pleadings, discovery documents, motions, briefs, and other legal correspondence.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and all aspects of general liability litigation.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, conferences, and other stages of litigation.
• Engage with medical experts to support case development.
• Conduct thorough legal and medical research and analysis as needed.
• Maintain regular client interactions, providing case updates and advisement.
• Work cohesively with other team members on high-exposure and complex litigation cases.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or related general liability litigation.
• Admission to practice law in New York.
• Familiarity with New York Labor Law (preferred but not required).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York (in good standing).

Skills
