Primary Responsibilities:•Operate equipment associated with production units•Operate material handling equipment such as overhead electric cranes•Operate mobile equipment such as tractors, trucks, heavy equipment, dozers, loaders, boom trucks, and mobile cranes•Inspect and perform basic maintenance on all associated equipment•Perform general labor•Other duties as assigned\r
Qualifications:•High school diploma or GED equivalent•Two years experience in manufacturing or industrial related field•Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality•Ability to read, understand, and follow operating instructions and procedure manuals•Effective communication skills - verbal and written•Willingness and availability to work rotating shifts 24 hours a day, seven days a weekAK Steel is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
