Responsibilities: Review medical records and add relevant dates/information to the medical chronology. Prepare discovery motions (Motions to Extend Discovery, Motion to Compel Discovery and Motion Dismiss Complaint for Plaintiff's Failure to Provide Discovery). Schedule and coordinate IME's for plaintiff. Research (Westlaw preferred) and other online sources. Assist in retention of experts. Prepare HIPPA Authorization Forms for Plaintiff's execution and return. Retrieval of medical records from providers. Follow-up with providers to ensure receipt of records of HIPPA requests. Perform Jury Verdict Searches using Westlaw. Preparation of appeals, motions, and privilege logs. Production of documents. Shepardizing [blue booking]cases.
