POSITION SUMMARYThe Instructional Designer/Develop Training Manager works collaboratively with the Compliance training team to design, develop, and implement interactive eLearning solutions in support of the Compliance team’s goals and strategies. Learning interactions will focus on corporate-wide awareness, retention, and adherence to compliance policies. This position also plays a key role in supporting compliance strategic initiatives from a learning and effectiveness perspective.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDesign, develop, and implement training and interventions to address identified needs or gaps in performance or knowledge. Primary focus is e-Learning development, using Articulate 360 suite. Use clear communication and cross-functional process management skills to ensure timely implementation of effective training programs that support Compliance goals and initiatives. Develop, manage, and execute on program effectiveness strategies.Build and maintain effective partnerships with internal stakeholders through discussions to proactively identify issues that impact training needs from both a performance and knowledge base. Maintain awareness of new developments in training and instructional design and recommend modifications in our curriculum and practices. Any other compliance related task assigned by manager.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in related field (Instructional Design, Education, Communications, Training, Business) or equivalent work experience.5-8 years relevant experience or Master’s degree and 3-5 years relevant experience.2-4 years of experience in e-learning program development required.Solid knowledge in at least two course development/Animation programs (e.g. Articulate, Captivate, Lectora, Go Animate, Camtasia etc.).Knowledge in Learning Management Systems, iManage, SharePoint, Snagit, Photoshop, Audition, and Illustrator, a plus.Intermediate or advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Project management experience; Background in PBM setting or healthcare compliance; preferredKNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIESProven knowledge of human behavior, adult learning theory, and Instructional Design theory and practice as well as working knowledge of all facets of training assessment, design, delivery, and implementation.Ability to turn complex information from multiple sources into relevant, lean, and accessible content for training.Proven work experience as a training manager.Experience in designing and facilitating instructor lead training programs, a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage day-to-day activities with multiple high profile projects and competing priorities.Ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, multi-task, and time effectively.Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and of a complex nature.Ability to represent Compliance Programs to internal and external audiences.Ability to collaborate with and build relationships with key business stakeholders.ABOUT THE DEPARTMENTThe Pharmacy Operations Group is crucial to achieving our mission of practicing pharmacy smarter and putting medicine within reach. Abbott Diabetes Care communicated a recall of certain FreeStyle® strips used in the FreeStyle® Blood Glucose Meter built into the OmniPod Personal Diabetes Manager (PDM). They have also recalled the FreeStyle Flash® Meter and FreeStyle® Classic meters. Both recalls are being issued because glucose level readings using these products may provide erroneously low results which if not recognized may pose significant risks to your health.
