Marketing Director
The candidate will be prospecting and developing new clients to ensure firm growth. Maintain and nurture existing clients. Build the brand name and professional image of the firm to enhance the external perception of the firm. Work and coordinate with the firm's Marketing Committee. Oversee the creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, and other marketing materials, both print and digital. Supervise and coordinate the firm's request for proposal (RFP) protocol process, including soliciting RFP's from appropriate prospective clients, coordinating with the attorneys, and drafting and submitting proposals for new business. Manage website and social media content to ensure information is updated timely and is pertinent. Produce digital materials and communication. Oversee the firms strategic partner relationships and business memberships to ensure participation and return on investment. Lead large scale events such as CLE lunches, partner workshops, and annual firm golf tournament. Coordinate client development opportunities with local sports and art venues. Order and maintain inventory for promotional gifts. Ensure the success and continuing development of the firm's marketing and strategic plan. Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities. Possess strong people skills, be comfortable in a collaborative teamwork environment, and work well with others. Ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines and set own work priorities. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience overseeing the design and production of print and digital materials. Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Knowledge of social media and digital marketing: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and basic understanding of Google and SEO. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, public relations, or complementary field. 5 years' experience in marketing, sales, communications or public relations. Law firm marketing experience helpful.
