The candidate will work directly with the Chair of the practice group, who is also a member of the Firm’s board. Should have management defense side experience with legal research, analysis, and drafting of complex memoranda, motions, and briefs in the context of employment disputes. Must have trial and pre-trial experience, as well as experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, and counseling clients on employment issues. Texas Bar is required; New Mexico Bar is a plus. A federal district court or circuit court of appeals clerkship is also a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish skills and ties to El Paso are desirable.
