Supply Specialist - Travel

The Supply Specialist for Travel assists the local and global sourcing team with plans and tactics to effectively manage the category, with the main focus on updating catalogs, validating business system continuity, executing the category plans, supporting end user requests and effectively resolving non-conformance cases.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist end user with travel issues, compliance review, and approval process
Conducts RFI/Q/P (Request for Information/Quotation/information/Proposal) and bidding processes, minimizing risk and maximizing value in terms of quality, delivery and cost.
Documents performance to action plans and timelines for assigned sourcing projects
Monitor Catalogs and upload required changes
Assist sourcing team in reviewing and validating the strategy for the category
Negotiates prices and terms with suppliers in order to meet specified quality, delivery and cost objectives.
Take action and ownership of assigned onboarding requests
Effectively follow up until resolving any Non-Conformance case related to USL
Executes contract negotiation and development in coordination with Sourcing Manager and Contract Specialists.
Builds strong relationships with internal customers in order to meet defined objectives.
Identifies opportunities and implements actions to continually reduce wasted time, money and resources

Qualifications and Experience:
2-3 years of related experience or BA in related field.
Must be analytical, structured and committed to continuous improvement
Effective written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
Strong quality focus with attention to details, and ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
Understanding of procurement concepts, ERPs, pertinent policies and Travel systems in place
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
