Senior Analyst, Tax
The candidate will responsible for all tax matters affecting the US operations, and is involved in all mergers and acquisitions, treasury, and business structuring decisions. A collaborative organization that works closely with legal, legislative affairs, treasury, accounting, human resources, and business operations. Provide support to the M&A Tax Team and the Planning & Integration Team. Participate in and support acquisitions and divestitures including tax due diligence, modeling of tax benefits/costs, post-deal business structuring, etc. Participate in and support tax planning and integration projects, including accounting method reviews, tax credit generation, and optimization, assessing impacts from proposed law changes, and other tax technical analyses. Perform technical tax research in multiple areas of tax law primarily focused on legal authority (statutes, regulations, case law, notices, etc.) as required to support assigned projects. Manage records retention and documentation in connection with all acquisition and divestiture and tax planning projects. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements and Minimum Education Level. Should preferably have JD or Master’s degree in Tax. Should have 2-5 years of work experience in mergers and acquisitions, with exposure to a broad range of federal tax matters. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel, when required expected at 10%. Public accounting or law firm experience is preferred. Must have highly organized with excellent project management skills, strong attention to detail, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ambitious, self-starting, and collaborative teammate. Must be detail-oriented while also being a strategic thinker.
