Responsibilities: Report to the General Counsel. Lead the compliance team. Develop strategies and lead efforts to encourage a Speak Up Culture for employees to raise concerns or questions. Learn the regulatory framework that affects our company and our public-sector contracts and will advise internal stakeholders on compliance with relevant laws, contractual obligations, and policies, such as anti-bribery, anti-corruption, harassment, discrimination, and conflicts of interest. Strengthen internal controls and be a resource for other control functions in the company. Implement best practices for employment, and ethics and compliance programs that promote the company's goals. Refine company policies and procedures and meet regularly with stakeholders to confirm accessibility and usability. Oversee the company’s audit processes and manage responses to external audits. Ensure independent contractors and agents are aware of compliance requirements. Draft reports and creates presentations on compliance metrics to stakeholders and global headquarters. Reviews and approves marketing and advertising materials. Trains and mentors personnel on compliance and internal quality assurance processes. Build out and improve ethics/whistleblowing hotline and case management system. Respond to and resolve internal disputes before administrative complaints or lawsuits are filed. Lead internal investigations in response to reports of possible violations of law or policy. Keep current with changes in laws.
