The candidate will be responsible for coordinating summer and post-graduation career opportunities for law students, including but not limited to contacting and networking with law firms and other employers to provide information and offer services to support increased recruitment efforts at USD, communicating opportunities in the legal field to students, and coordinating and scheduling on-campus student interviews for employers; coordinating and presenting learning opportunities to students in preparation for the job search process; working one-on-one with students on resume writing, interviewing, and other job search related skills; keeping abreast of career opportunities and hiring trends in the legal field, job search tools, and resume writing techniques; consulting and collaborating with law school faculty on skill building opportunities for students; participating in School of Law recruitment activities; participating in committee work for the University and the School of Law; and other duties as assigned.
