Marketing Assistant
The candidate will assist with planning firm events, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and participation in professional and industry conferences. Assist attorneys with preparation for client/prospect visits, including preparing presentations, packaging marketing/advertising materials, catering arrangements, etc. Maintain and coordinate the firm’s Continuing Education (CE) program for clients. Coordinate with various Departments of Insurance (DOI) and other organizations to acquire and maintain CE accreditation. Ensure CE program compliance with DOI guidelines and assist in the development and administration of appropriate procedures to meet accreditation guidelines. Submit CE applications to accrediting agencies, ensuring timely submission to meet deadlines. Submit attendee credits to agencies and maintain required documentation/records. Planned, coordinated, and attend CE training seminars. Maintain calendar of CE and marketing events; work collaboratively with internal and external constituents to provide appropriate, accurate, and timely schedule detail while meeting deadlines. Input and update client/prospect information. Record events and marketing activity. Enter and maintain data regarding marketing/business development expenses. Ensure data is imported/recorded accurately and in line with database guidelines and naming conventions. Maintained archives and files of various materials received from individual attorneys and practice groups, including, but not limited to attorney bios, resumes, articles, newsletters, presentation materials, and proposal submissions. Draft, edit, and proof content for the website, social media, marketing collateral materials, and other market-facing materials, including bios, press releases, and alerts. Respond to internal and external requests for marketing materials. Order and maintain inventory of collateral materials and promotional items. Provide administrative support to the department manager and all others in the firm performing marketing functions as needed. Assist with maintaining the firm’s social media presence, including monitoring activity and posting content Additional duties as assigned.
