Responsibilities: Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times; Reviews and advises Company personnel on environmental and commercial issues and disputes, corresponds with outside counsel on such disputes; Reviews and manages Company’s environmental liabilities, including Federal and State Superfund liabilities; Reviews notices of violation issued by regulatory authorities, work with Company personnel and/or outside counsel to respond to and defend against the same; Reviews document requests and audit requests by regulatory authorities or other third parties and compiles responses to the same; Manages outside counsel and assists outside counsel in gathering information needed to protect the Company’s interests; Conducts legal investigations with respect to pending claims and other matters; Conducts research and prepares legal briefs and memoranda on legal issues; Anticipates and guards against legal risks involving the Company; Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. business.
