Description
The Agency Broker Lead - Life Insurance develops and maintains relationships with small and medium-sized accounts. The Agency Broker Lead - Life Insurance work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Agency Broker Lead - Life Insurance focuses on hosting & coordinating (in cooperation with local Carrier Representatives and Agency Leaders) training opportunities for Agents in the market, along with virtual/remote webinars, etc. Works to support national and regional Partners to ensure there is a consistent Agent experience across all markets. on personal sales targets and troubleshoots specific customer problems. Meets targets through cultivation of new client relationships and development of productive relationships with existing clients. Prepares sales presentations, contracts, and proposals subject to review by supervisor. May participate in special projects/programs as assigned, such as training or communication sessions within or outside of the company. Maximizes revenues from sales of the organization's products and/or services through a base of reseller partners in specific assigned channels and/or vertical markets. Locates, evaluates, and recruits potential channel partners, including systems integrators, value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, dealers, or retailers. Supports partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions, and training to achieve revenue targets. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications
5 years formal leadership experience with direct reports
Prior experience in building high-performing sales teams and achieving sales goals
Prior experience in partnering across functions to create win/win strategies
Meet Humana's Work at Home connectivity policy listed in additional information
Must be willing to work any shift on any day during business operation hours, including nights and weekends, or any additional hours based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Prior experience leading large teams in a values-based culture
Experience with the healthcare insurance industry
Prior experience coordinating sales operations activities with partners/vendors, including systems migrations

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)
Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
