Privacy Consultant

Duties: The candidate will oversee and coordinate the establishment of privacy standards, policies, governance structure, and processes. Coordinate, monitor, and consult on privacy-specific regulatory matters and compliance activities that span multiple business units throughout the US and other the firm regions. Engage and influence the firm business executives and managers to gain commitment, support, and buy-in for the Privacy program such that adherence to the privacy compliance priorities and standards becomes a key part of the critical processes performed by their functions. Provide consultation to business units on privacy laws and requirements, evaluate potential privacy compliance risk exposure areas, and support process development to ensure compliance. Support response efforts to emerging risk areas and remediation for any gaps or problems identified in the monitoring process. Support business units in promoting consistent interpretation, application, and compliance with policy and regulatory requirements.
