Associate Attorney
The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of telecom land use agreements; for negotiating, drafting, interpreting commercial leases and amendments; agreement enforcements; and interpreting communications development and construction plans. Must be a licensed attorney in one or more U.S. jurisdictions with significant demonstrated prior experience in wireless site real property transactions and local government permitted, law and/or administrative law. Proficiency with land use, zoning and planning, drafting and revising ordnances. Experience in the telecommunications industry, especially in wireless telecommunication, is a prerequisite. Juris Doctorate degree and active member in good standing with a State Bar 2-4 years’ experience in real property transactions, municipal law and/or administrative law Experience in negotiating, drafting and interpreting commercial agreements, including land, Ability to read and interpret conceptual development and communications construction plans, Experience with contracts, land use, zoning and planning issues, Strong analytical, negotiation and drafting skills, Ability to work independently and make decisions supported with reasoned judgment, Experience in a client-facing position (whether in a legal capacity or otherwise), Excellent oral and written communication skills, Strong critical thinking and analysis skills, Drafting and negotiating contracts, including but not limited to letters of intent, complex, Draft and revise municipal ordinances related to telecommunications, Advise clients on applicable State and Federal regulations and strategic business/legal, matters.
