Senior People Services Manager (HR Shared Services)

Nutanix is looking for a talented, experienced, and highly motivated Senior Manager to lead our Americas HR Shared Services team. In this role, the People Services Manager will provide strategic vision, direction, and day-to-day operational leadership to a team of HR professionals who deliver service to employees across all HR functional areas. This role will partner with the COE’s HRBP’s and other key stakeholders to establish SLA’s and maintain strong partnerships. They will manage a variety of strategic projects in support of our performance and service delivery goals. The successful candidate brings thought leadership related to Shared Services strategies and best practices; monitors, measures and analyzes data to guide decision-making and drive optimization; is passionate about delivering employee-centric solutions and constantly striving to improve the quality of the customer experience.


Lead and coach the Americas HR Operations and Service Delivery teams to deliver best in class employee experiences.

Promote teamwork and professional development for staff. Drive case analysis to identify performance strengths, weaknesses, trends and forecasting that drive business outcomes.

Report highlights, data findings and quarterly business review to Senior Leadership and partners.

Design and expand GPS service offerings, scalable delivery model, tools, systems, and global processes on behalf of the employee by developing frustration-free solutions.

Lean in on the strategy, design, and development of new technologies (e.g., Chatbot), aggressively pursue self-service and automation opportunities globally. Deliver complex, large-scale projects from initiation to delivery.

Direct GPS’ execution of the onboarding and orientation processes to ensure GPS delivers a meaningful experience garnering New Hire satisfaction and supporting long-term retention.

Collaborate cross-functionally with all key partners; Establish and manage SLA’s ensuring control standards, transparent and timely communications, spotlight process risk, proposed changes, strategic needs and opportunities to deliver best-in-class operations.

Model behaviors that support the Nutanix values; ensure employees and team members are supported at the highest level.


Human Resources professional with a minimum of 10 years progressive experience, including HR Services and people leadership. Global experience a plus

Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within teams.

Excellent customer service skills

Demonstrated ability to design an HR Operations roadmap and deliver results on time and with quality.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in metrics and support SLAs

Strong project and process management skills, ability to prioritize, multitask and manage multiple projects successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify strategy into specific actions, make decisions and communicate priorities.

Proven ability to build senior stakeholder relationships.

Can thrive in an agile, fast-paced, and data-driven environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication

Strong strategic / critical thinking skills, and ability to “think big but start small.”

Workday HCM experience preferred.

ServiceNow experience required.

Compliance experience a plus

Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite

Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field or equivalent
