Judicial Education Specialist
The candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, facilitating, and evaluating an ongoing skill-based curriculum for trial judges throughout the Commonwealth. Leads and coordinates all phases of the design, delivery, and presentation. Designs and develops skill-based curriculum using current educational practices and established adult learning theories for delivery to trial judges statewide. Identifies content experts, facilitates content development, designs program plans, identifies and recruits faculty. Researches skill-based topics in various publications and electronic databases; identifies trends and events that may be of interest to the Judiciary. Directs/manages the preparation for programs. Interacts/collaborates with judges, faculty, and institutional partners regarding programs and content. Customizes approach to meet participants' needs. Responsible for ensuring all program logistics are satisfied and course details are communicated to participants. Conducts pre- and post-assessments, and refreshes course content at regular intervals. Remains current with training concepts, trends, and technology. Provides reports on training effectiveness to include evaluation, analysis and recommendations.
