This is a fantastic opportunity to help transform frontline cyber operations for the 3rd largest health organization in the Nation. This candidate will have the ability to apply their vast expertise to shape and streamline cyber operations for a Fortune 50 company.

The Security Operations Lead will report directly to the Director of Defense and Response Operations. In this role, the right candidate must ensure that the team leverages an appropriate risk-based approach to incident response, remediation, and recovery. The right candidate would have a broad and deep skill set in information security and incident response, with a passion for security orchestration and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Humana is seeking a Security Operations Lead that will:

Have the ability to build strong relationships with technical teams across various functions throughout EIP

Mentor and coach other members of the cyber operations team to ensure best practices are being followed

Plan and development team tabletop scenarios to ensure technical consistency

Be responsible for Operations SOP refinement and development

Handle Analyst training and growth plan development to ensure confidence and triage consistency

Develop and deploy automation processes, tools and services that increase the ability of the operations capabilities

Act as a SME for platform capability / tooling improvements to ensure the team is maintaining industry standard best practices consistent to a fortune 100 Security Operations Center

Conduct as needed ad-hoc incident response

Provide significant inputs into strategy development to increase team maturity

Build short and long term strategic outlook action plans, using an industry leading security maturity framework

Work with and influence senior leaders throughout security and business areas to achieve strategic outcomes

Required Qualifications

Track record of building security strategy to mature security organizations

Ability to operate effectively in a security 'startup' mentality

Track record of developing and executing security organizations tactical roadmaps

Experience guiding a team of engineers to track and execute security initiatives

Strong understanding of vulnerability and threat analysis experience

Strong understanding of malware analysis and reverse engineering

Strong understanding cyber security capabilities and threat landscape

Strong information security background with a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience

Experience transforming security operations procedures, process, SIEM tuning, automations, and metrics reporting

Strong understanding of network and computer forensics

Experience working with the MITRE ATT&CK framework

Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification
