The life sciences sector is at an inflection point. The promise of cell therapies is being delivered to patients; rare diseases, previously believed to be incurable, are on the precipice of real cures. Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning approaches are enabling time- and cost-effective solutions to therapy discovery and development, as well as setting the foundation for personalized medicine. Data-driven approaches have the potential to create value across manufacturing, supply chain, and the entire healthcare ecosystem. As technology and behavioral science converge, the focus is also increasingly shifting to wellness and disease prevention. Consumer wearables now have medical-grade sensors; and telemedicine, remote monitoring, and virtual trials are fast becoming the mainstay.

Data being at the center of all the innovation, the new decade will see biopharma and med-tech organizations not only looking for new ways to make sense of it, but also for efficient ways to manage their increasing data loads. With the adoption of patient-centric models, healthcare and life sciences organizations are on the search for easier operational approaches in order to create real value for themselves and their shareholders.

At Pure, we understand that delivering value to customers requires solutions tailored to their specific industry needs. The global Alliance team serves as the front line for designing messaging and facilitating sales of these solutions. We are tasked with creating and growing the Pure ecosystem to drive net new pipeline opportunities in connection with prioritized technology partners. We work closely with these partners and Pure GTM teams to build differentiated solutions and enable field sales to sell their value.

The Life Sciences Strategic Alliances Manager will own the Health and Life Sciences partnerships and drive business development opportunities to increase Pure solution sales. You will be the single most knowledgeable person in the company about the Health and Life Sciences business, products, and markets. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Alliances, you will establish objectives, resourcing plans and metrics for GTM performance.

What You Bring to The Team

Results driven, customer focused mind-set; technologically and competitively savvy.

Demonstrated experience and relationships within Health and Life Science Ecosystem.

Track record of building and maintaining meaningful, sales-oriented relationships with HLS software providers such as Medidata, SAP, ProteinQure, Concerto Health AI, Iktos, and CytoReason.

Experience defining and monitoring key metrics/measurement for joint solution performance, conducting periodic business reviews with stakeholders.

An eye for identifying new opportunities for the relationship and willingness to help execute partnership activities within the HLS market.

Willingness to travel in some cases for extended periods of time both US & globally.

Proficiency developing tool sets and reporting models to manage the HLS business.

Business Development

Capture new solution requirements for HLS storage market.

Act as the Health and Life Sciences ambassador within Pure.

Define Pure’s healthcare GTM strategy and clearly articulate it to senior leaders within Pure, our partner community, and customers.

Work with partnered technical architect to convert business requirements to technical solutions.

Identify and encourage new opportunities for interoperability, functional, and performance testing/validation with ISV partners.

Facilitate mutual roadmap and business planning exchanges with executive leadership, regional management and key account team.

Joint Value Asset Development

Work with internal / external teams to recommend and help produce requisite assets that describe our joint solution value and support overall GTM objectives (i.e. white papers, testing results, solution briefs, case studies, demos, web content and presentation materials).

Speak at trade show events, customer meetings, industry panels and partner events.

Monitor the competitive landscape to ensure teams understand our differentiated positioning.

Support awareness efforts via social channels and industry publications to improve brand recognition and understanding of Pure’s unique value.

Craft content – directly and with 3

party agencies – that relates our joint solution value with ISVs and creates meaningful connections with buyers.
