Description
The Senior Data and Reporting Professional generates reports, completes analyses and report information by using system tools, database and data warehouse queries and scripts. The Senior Data and Reporting Professional works assignments involving moderately complex to complex analyses which may require an in-depth evaluation of varying factors.
Responsibilities
Location: work at home anywhere
The Senior Data and Reporting Professional integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements for reporting and analyses. This individual will create and maintain reports used to assist operational areas with decision-making and planning while gathering specifications for reports based on business processes and current structure. The role will assist in influencing department's strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding department processes and strategic approach to current upcoming projects. This role will exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Drive analyses to proactively identify risks; including development of reporting data models and tracking mechanisms
Review and analyze data sets, processes, and documentation to identify gaps in current state process
Provide context for data and reporting, focusing on issue identification, root causes, and potential solutions

Role Essentials
Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of technical experience in data and reporting
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboards
Advanced Microsoft Access skills including ability to link to external data sources, pass-through queries, data structure and relationship design
Advanced proficiency in SQL, PLSQL, TOAD and/or other data systems
Experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations and/or the analysis of healthcare data
Experience working with business partners to understand the business need and gather requirements for reporting
Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Role Desirables
Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Experience with tools such as Tableau, PowerBI and Minitab for creating data visualizations
Familiar with Lean and Six Sigma practices
Experience in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment
