The candidate will take depositions, attend hearings, and mediations as required. Draft pleadings and briefs. Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients. Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis. Draft interrogatories and document demands. Review document collections in preparation for litigation. Submit filings to the court. Should have a J.D./LLM. Commercial litigation experience is required. Asbestos/toxic tort experience is preferred. Admission to practice in DC and Maryland is required. Courtroom experience including motions is required. Trial experience is required. Exceptional legal writing and communication skills are needed. Should have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Should have the ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
