Adjunct Faculty – Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing
The candidate will teach legal analysis, research, writing, and oral advocacy to first-year law students in its legal writing program. Lead weekly two-hour workshops for about 12 students from mid-August to April, with a month-long break during Winter; assess and provide detailed, constructive feedback on weekly assignments; and provide personal encouragement and professional mentorship to law students. Before beginning to teach, adjuncts will participate in training about the substance and pedagogy of course, the school’s online platform, and tools for inclusive teaching. Must have a J.D., law practice experience, and an interest in teaching legal analysis, research, writing, and oral advocacy to first-year law students. Lawyers with any subject specialty (including transactional law) and judges are encouraged to apply.
