Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor
Ascension St. John Medical Center - Tulsa, OK
Full Time - Nights
Schedule: Friday - Tuesday, 10:30pm - 7:00am
What You Will Do
Provides behavioral health counseling services.
Conduct patient assessment and establishe therapy treatment goals.
Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.
Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
One or more of the following required:
Counselor credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health.
Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Oklahoma State Board ofLicensed Social Workers.
Oklahoma License (LPC-Licensed Professional Counselor) or (LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or (LMFT-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) or (LADC/MH - Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor/Mental Health Certified)
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Clinical Counselor preferred.
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
No additional preferences.
