The Senior CyberSecurity Operations Center Engineer develops and executes security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. The Senior CyberSecurity Operations Center Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Cyber Security Service Delivery Team supports Humana's value proposition by providing strategic guidance and support for EIP, IT and business clients. Responsibilities will include a rotating on-call support for Cyber Incidents. Candidate will also be assessing process gaps and developing plans for mitigation specific to stability within the EIP Security Operations environment. Candidate will establish or refine service delivery processes centered on stability to include areas such as but not limited to: Cyber Incident, Change & Problem Management, Security Operational Readiness, developing metrics and tracking trends to understand key areas of needed focus. To achieve results this will require the direct partnership and ability to influence multiple levels and areas of the organization. Candidate will assist on multiple EIP owned initiatives which will encompass providing direct influence to multiple project team members, vendor evaluations and implementation of new technology.
Rotating on-call responsibilities to establish and facilitate meeting bridges during an ongoing incident.
Coordinate and assist teams with Security Incident Management & bridge facilitation activities.
Drives the efficiency and effectiveness of the Security Incident management process.
Recognize and support departmental objectives and drive process methodology that will achieve desired business outcomes.
Work diligently & Liaise with Enterprise partners, vendors, and co-workers to creatively solve problems.
Responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of service engagements.
Identify key success factors and prioritize work packages to achieve corporate goals.
Establish key business operations relationships, providing an avenue to assess and recommend operational changes and enhancements.
Provide strategic direction and ability to influence team members both within and outside of EIP to achieve desired results.
Champion corporate awareness of service targets and facilitate cooperation in order to meet those targets.
Develop trend analysis and response processes and reporting for all areas of the Cyber Security Operations Center (Cyber Defense & Intelligence Center, Forensic Security & Investigations, Technology Operations and Incident Response).

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an additional 2 years experience
5 or more years of technical cyber security experience
Experience integrating Cyber Security technologies with existing technologies
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with Security & Major Incident delivery - including managing, tracking and reporting remediation of security incidents involving enterprise assets.
Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of project sponsors and key stakeholders
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Sound business and technical acumen
Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbal
Strong presentation & visualization skills
Ability to remove barriers to ensure success for initiatives
Experience with Six Sigma, ITIL & NIST Principles
Cyber Security Certification preferred but not required
Experience with PowerPoint, Excel
Experience developing and executing strategic initiatives
