Manufacturing Engineer - Industrial Engineering - Clearwater FL

Profile

Description: Develop labor standards; perform time studies

on new or existing processes; support the

bidding process with new standards; provide

support to manufacturing through monitoring of

cost metrics, and through initiatives that result in

waste elimination and process improvements.

Perform simulations, capacity planning, and

produce savings packages. Work single piece

flow initiatives that reduce the hours per unit of

our products. Must have good communication

skills and be able to work effectively in a team

environment.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or

similar field

Good communication skills.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office with an

emphasis of Microsoft Excel

Desired Skills:

Experienced with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint,

Access, Word, and Excel). Experience with

Statistical Analysis

Experience with Simulation software

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts and

techniques. Experience in a Manufacturing

environment through internships

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
