National Title Underwriting Counsel
Duties: Develop and deliver underwriting policies, procedures and practices which are consistently utilized when providing guidance to branch offices; Provide support for branch offices on escrow and other operational issues; Provide ongoing training support for title and escrow operations; Develop a national network of external underwriting support composed of attorneys and underwriters from various title insurers with which has issuing agency agreements; and Provide support to the Deputy General Counsel and Associate Counsel—Regulatory in the handling and management of general corporate matters and regulatory and licensing issues. Review, revise and provide advice on leases and vendor contracts. Respond to subpoenas served upon Premier. Respond to requests for Letters of Indemnity. Assist with claim review and investigation.
