This employee will be responsible for mid to large sized projects as a technical trainer following the agile methodology within the provider space. Utilize independent judgment and discretion within and across a large business organization. Interacts or engages matrix partners as appropriate. Actions have significant impact on key department objectives. The Business Analyst role will enable the quality business team as new technology is rolled out for each release.


• Facilitate ongoing training to introduce new products or services, teach new workflows or processes, system utilization and refresh or develop advanced skills.

• Work in collaboration with management, subject matter experts (SME), project managers, product owner, scrum master, and system architectural designers to identify job specific learning and performance needs.

• Assess performance of participants to measure the development and ability to apply skills and knowledge.

• Perform ongoing evaluations of training program effectiveness, creating and implementing work plans to address any needs identified.

• Update existing and create new course content based on business needs and ongoing evaluation of training program effectiveness.

• Create job aides and other training tools to address ongoing needs and incorporate these tools into existing programs where appropriate.

• Working with management, coordinate the scheduling of all training programs to meet business needs.

• Secure all resources required to deliver training programs remotely or onsite including rooms, technology, guest speakers/subject matter experts, and supplies.

• Track participant attendance and performance

• Monitor participant performance and regularly coach to improve performance.

• Provide feedback to management team on individual and group training program performance.

• Work with Internal Monitoring to determine training needs based on audit feedback and calibration.

• Identify potential gaps in training process through audit


• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required

• 5 years provider experience required

• Previous experience working with CPF and HCPM systems required

• 3 – 5 years’ experience as a SME in provider workflow and/or process highly preferred

• Advanced knowledge in SQL – ability to write, decipher complex SQL queries against different relational databases.

• Ability to tune SQL queries for optimal performance

• Strong knowledge and working experience in at least one relational database like SQL Server, Oracle or DB2

• Ability to model and create table structures, indexes, views etc. in SQL Server platform. Ability to enforce best practices and guardrails in the business IT community

• Knowledge and experience in advanced SQL Server concepts such as partitioning, triggers would be a plus.

• Good understanding of ETL concepts and experience developing solutions in at least one ETL tool like Informatica, SSIS, Datastage or similar

• Experience writing solutions in SAS or similar analytics software

• Ability to write reports, develop dashboards, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Experience in Tableau preferred

• Knowledge and exposure to big data and Hadoop would be a plus

• Advanced knowledge on Microsoft Client tools such as Access/Excel

• Persuasive, collaborative business acumen with the ability to drive the business strategically and influence others

• Familiarity with data mining and management

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to include written, oral and group presentation skills and ability to communicate with all levels

• Proven quantitative and analytical skills

• Travel required up to 25%
