Microchip Technology, Inc is looking for a facilities/site services general technician to maintain and perform maintenance repairs within a 200,000 sq/ft Fab/Cleanroom/ Labs/Office buildings. The position is located at our Fab 2 facility in Tempe, AZ.
This is for a Monday - Friday shift. Benefits begin on date of hire.
General maintenance may include:
General Areas – Clean, Organize, Lights, Ceiling Tile
Cubicles – Modify, Build, Cabinets, Drawers, Lights, schedule Cleaning
Whiteboards - Install
Painting – Walls, Pipe, Duct
Wood Pallets – Properly dispose
Doors/Handles – Hang, Shim, Balance
Locks – Keys, Install, Modify
Misters – PM, Repair
Faucets – Batteries
Water Dispensers, Tubing
Conference Rooms, Lights, Arrange tables and Chairs
Cafeteria, Lights, Arrange tables and Chairs
New TVs, Install, Modify
Cooling Tower Maintenance
Cross train – Electrical, Mechanical, UPW
High school graduate or equivalent.
Good mechanical aptitude skills.
Lift 50 lbs
Work in full PPE gown, gloves, face shield
Work on a 6 foot ladder
This is a Safety Sensitive position.
