Corporate Associate Attorney - Emerging Companies + Venture Capital/Mergers and Acquisitions
The candidaet should preferably have a California Bar admission. Must have 3 - 6 years of significant experience in emerging companies + venture capital and mergers & acquisitions matters. Must have experience working in a premier corporate practice. Should exercise sound legal and business knowledge in working on a broad spectrum of cases and counseling clients with respect to ongoing matters. Must have the ability to draft and modify Merger Agreements and other acquisition-related definitive agreements; current knowledge of “what’s market” on key terms. The ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form is a must. Should be innovative and forward-thinking and have excellent business and legal problem-solving skills. A strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, team player attitude, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions are required. Commitment to delivering excellent client service in a team environment is needed. Outstanding research and analytical skills are imperative. Familiarity with venture-backed targets is a plus.
