Staff Attorney

The candidate will assist with preparation, coordination and organization of materials for corporate governance (quarterly Board and monthly committee meetings), coordinate meetings and draft minutes, as appropriate. Assist with preparation, drafting, organization, filing and posting of notifications to CFTC, SEC and other regulators, as appropriate. Assist with maintenance and control of corporate rules, policies & procedures. Assist with tracking regulatory and corporate governance commitments. Prepare confidential weekly reports for distribution to Clearing Participants. Assist with the negotiation of new corporate contracts and maintain a database of all existing corporate contracts. Assist with monitoring industry regulatory developments. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s Degree, JD and Bar Admission. Should have 2+ years of experience. Work experience with a clearing house, exchange, brokerage, regulatory agencies, bank or other financial services companies or law firm preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills. Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work independently with confidential and sensitive information. Swaps, futures or derivatives experience a plus.
