Description

The Senior Channel Development Professional is responsible for communicating Humana's Clinical strategy to potential and renewing Medicare clients through proposal responses. The Senior RFP Development Professional will need very strong written communication skills and will be responsible for working with other SMEs in order to ensure responses are accurate and complete. This position will report to a Channel Development Lead.

Responsibilities

Location: work at home anywhere

The Senior RFP Professional assists the Group Medicare Customer Success Team with RFP support, RFP library maintenance, client reporting, and client support and issue resolution. In this role, you will:

Assist in answering, writing and routing of RFP questions to internal SMEs

Assist with the on-going maintenance and updates to the Clinical RFP library

Maintain internal SME list and track all RFPs

Support Group Medicare Clinical Lead in implementation & ongoing management of larger clients as it relates to Clinical programs

Support departmental goals related to Clinical Product adoption

Ad Hoc reporting and special projects as needed

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field or equivalent work experience

5 years of health care experience

Strong written and communication skills including writing and editing content

Experience presenting to internal and external customers

Strong problem solving skills

Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word & Excel

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Medicare

Familiar with RFPs and RFP databases
