Interested in becoming a Franchise Analyst?  As a Franchise Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating franchisees’ financial condition, assisting with credit requests, and communicating with and supporting franchisees with financial matters.

Job Duties:

Performing detailed financial reviews and analyses of franchisees’ financial condition and preparing franchise valuations

Performing financial and operational evaluations before providing a credit recommendation to management

Preparing and entering journal entries and completing account analyses

Assisting franchisees with financial reporting issues, including reviewing Aaron’s reports and monthly reporting requirements with franchise accountants/bookkeepers

Serving as the liaison between franchisees and other segments of the Aaron’s business for all finance, accounting, and billing matters

Monitoring franchisees’ compliance with certain aspects of the franchise agreement and assisting in resolution where necessary

Performing ad-hoc analysis as required such as cash flow projections and franchise acquisition analysis

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required

0 - 3 years’ financial analysis, accounting or related experience

Required Skills and Competencies:

Strong analytical skills including financial statement and cash flow analysis

Must be able to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel

Strong attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-focused attitude

Communication – Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. This includes the ability to describe or explain complex processes and issues in a concise manner
