SUMMARY
Arcticom, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is seeking a Principal Management Consultant. This position is responsible for driving the delivery of quality logistics business solution enhancements. As a strong business partner, the Principal Management Consultant understands business challenges and opportunities, and works to design and deliver value added solutions within the set business requirements. While carrying out their responsibilities, adheres to established processes, requirements management methodology, and practices. These include meeting established quality standards, deadlines, and compliance controls.
Incumbent should possess broad knowledge of commercial Advanced Planning, consulting, continuous improvements and business partnering.

Enhancements and Advanced Training
Apply deep business acumen in understanding business needs and value realization
Gather business requirements and work across the program and other Air Force initiatives to develop cost effective and value add solutions
Drive timely and quality delivery of solutions (process and technology) through design, build, test and implementation. Ensure implemented solution delivers upon business needs and estimated value.
Consulting & Participation in Continuous Improvement
Consult with stakeholders. Provide technical consulting and support information flow and communication
Consult and participate in project workshops as a business process expert
Drive engagement across the Capability Initiatives to improve communication and alignment
Play a hands-on role in managing and delivering planning solutions to our clients.
Conduct standard business / technology assessments depending on project scope and client needs.
Effectively manage client relationships and joint project teams including other consultants, contractors, and client team members.
Engage and communicate with clients at all levels of the organization during the delivery process to earn their confidence and trust.
Enterprise Analysis
Identify gaps in current capabilities that create an unmet need; then if change is required, proposes an approach and scope for finding a solution
Build the case to justify the work needed to eliminate gaps
Other Project Delivery Responsibilities
Facilitate business process reengineering workshops and adhoc executive management meetings
Manage own workload and priorities to deliver agreed upon project milestones
Lead and mentor less experienced staff
Represent and participate in deployment of projects
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Five (5) or more years of process improvement experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; requires US Citizenship
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical people
Ability to understand our business, be a team player and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment
Strong problem solving/decision-making skills
Experience leading and influencing others, including senior level personnel
Process design and implementation
Demonstrated analytical skills
Strong collaboration skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Typical work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m (Central Time). Job may require additional hours. Work hours may change at Management’s discretion with or without prior notice.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a non-supervisory position
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
