Family Law Estate Planning Associate Attorney
The candidate will be communicating with Clients and others in Meetings, through Emails and Letters, by Telephone, and by Zoom. Communicating with the Team to give the client the best outcome we can, for each individual circumstance. Preparing for Hearings, Settlement Conferences, Mediation, Trials, and other proceedings. Drafting, reviewing, and revising Motions, Declarations, Court Orders, and other pleadings. Drafting Estate Plans. Preparing Discovery. Conducting legal research and gathering client documentation. Preparing Legal Briefs – Memoranda. Working with Law Firm Owner/Supervising Attorney and Staff to manage cases and strategize to achieve clients’ goals, court, and other deadlines. Should have proven organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed. Adept at using various Systems and Software programs such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) -Team, Podium, Slack, Clio Grow, Clio Manage, DropBox, my pleadings, WealthCounsel, Linx and JIS. Should have 3+ years of experience as an attorney, preferably in the area of Family and Elder Law. Must have experience preparing a case from beginning to end – client intake through closing files. Should have the ability to work well as part of a Team, as well as independently. Should have a positive Attitude and Team Player. Spanish speaking is a plus.
