RESPONSIBILITIES: Handling a variety of general corporate legal matters including, but not limited to, litigation, bankruptcy, third-party subpoena responses, garnishments, corporate governance, intellectual property, real estate and contract drafting. Drafting of various legal correspondence, memorandums, contracts and documents. Daily interaction with a variety of business units and company senior management. Oversee the automated litigation hold process pertaining to company litigation. As applicable, research any and all information as necessary to draft legal documents. Assist on special projects as they often become available. Assist attorneys and other paralegals in the organization, management and administration of any and all legal matters handled within the department. Judge the priority and importance of work assignments and assign to appropriate counsel (internal and outside counsel). High level of organization skills necessary including use of various software programs including, Sharepoint, document management system, etc.
